Online sessions take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform called SimplePractice. You can join from your phone or tablet using the Telehealth by SimplePractice app, or from your computer using your preferred web browser. Your free consultation also takes place on this platform, so you’ll have a chance to see how it works before starting therapy.

A standard 50-minute session is $160. If you’re using insurance, your cost will depend on your plan’s coverage and copay or coinsurance amount. I’ll verify your benefits before we begin so I can provide you with an estimate. I always encourage insurance clients to contact their carrier directly to ensure therapy is covered and to ask about expected costs, such as deductibles, cost-shares, and copays.
-
Payments are made securely through the SimplePractice platform. You can use a credit or debit card, or an HSA card with a credit logo.
-
There’s no charge for canceling or rescheduling with at least 24 hours’ notice. A $115 fee is charged for late cancellations or missed appointments. Insurance does not cover these fees, so clients are responsible for the cost of a late-canceled or missed session.

A consultation is a free 20-minute virtual meeting where you can ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and see if working together feels right for you. It’s also a chance to experience the video platform and see how online therapy feels.
There’s no pressure—this time is yours to ask questions and see if we might be a good fit. -
In our first sessions, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to work on, and what feeling better might look like for you. You don’t need to come prepared; I’ll guide the process and you can share only what feels comfortable.
Once we have a sense of your goals, we’ll start working toward them together, checking in along the way and adjusting as needed. Sometimes life brings new challenges, and we’ll make space for those too.
Two things I often recommend:
Set aside some quiet time after sessions to reflect or rest.
Give yourself 10–15 minutes a day to check in with your inner world—it helps deepen the work between sessions.
